// POST A BATTLE

Creating a Challenge

Posting a challenge is how you set the table. You define the conditions and the stake, then wait for an opponent to accept. The create flow walks you through it as a clear sequence of stages.

1. Difficulty

Difficulty sets how demanding the generated conditions are and how long the run lasts. It also defines the allowed liquidity range for the battle. Pick the level you want to compete at.

2. Liquidity

Commit the reserves you will bring to the run, within the allowed range for the difficulty. The panel shows your budget as a share of the maximum so you can see how lean or heavy you are playing. This choice stays private until the battle settles. See Liquidity for how to spend well.

3. Controller

Tune your policy: Kp, Ki, and the rate bounds. The proportional and integral terms switch on as soon as you give them a value above zero, so a control with a gain of zero is simply inactive. A Reset clears everything back to a neutral start. This is the core of your strategy and it stays hidden until settlement. See Controller Basics.

4. Wager

Set the Gold you are staking. Both sides put up the wager, and the winner takes the pot. A portion of the battle's economy feeds the season jackpot. The wager grows the prize, not your rating swing.

The Run Preview

While you build the challenge, a live preview panel summarizes everything: difficulty and duration, your liquidity budget and its share of the maximum, the wager and the pot it would create, and a readout of your controller. It also flags whether your configuration is valid and ready to post.

The preview never shows the hidden parts of a battle. It reflects only your own choices, so you can sanity check your plan before committing.

Saving and Loading Loadouts

If you find a setup you like, save it as a private loadout. Loadouts store your controller and liquidity for a given mode and difficulty so you can reload them later.

  • Load a saved loadout from the control directly below the difficulty stage.
  • Save a new one, or, once a loadout is loaded and you have changed it, Overwrite it or Save as new.

Loadouts are private to you. They are a personal playbook, not something opponents can see.

Posting

When the preview says you are ready, post the challenge. It joins the open board in the Arena lobby, where it also appears in your own list. You can cancel a post that is still waiting for an opponent from there or from My Challenges.

Keep a few playbooks

Saving loadouts per difficulty turns tuning into selecting. Build a conservative one and an aggressive one, then choose based on how confident you feel about the conditions.
