FAQ
Getting in
Where should I start?
Run through the Academy, then take a few Solo Practice runs on an easier difficulty. Move to Ranked Battles once you can explain why your controller and liquidity choices worked.
Why is a mode locked?
Some modes open as you progress through the Academy. The lock screen in the app always tells you exactly what unlocks it, so follow the prompt in front of you.
Playing
Can my opponent see my setup before a battle settles?
No. In a ranked battle your controller and liquidity budget stay hidden until settlement. You cannot see theirs either. That secrecy is the core of the matchup.
Does spending more liquidity just win?
No. Reserves support the run, but overcommitting wastes capital and costs you on the Liquidity Strategy pillar. Spending well beats spending big.
Does zero liquidity ever make sense?
It can be an interesting learning experiment, but it is usually fragile. Thin reserves make a run much harder to stabilize.
Does Solo Practice change my rating?
No. Solo Practice is for learning and review. It never moves your Ladder rating. Your solo history is also private to you.
Rating and the Ladder
Does a bigger wager improve my rating more?
No. Wager size sets the size of the pot, not the size of your rating change. Rating moves on how well you played the run.
Why do I have a rating but no official rank?
You may still be building early ranked history, or you may need more recent activity before official placement. Your activity state is shown on the Ladder and your profile.
Why did a battle not move my rating?
The system applies fairness and activity checks before a result counts. When a battle does not move rating, the review tells you why.
Gold and the season
What feeds the season jackpot?
Liquidity committed across runs, plus a share of every ranked wager pot. The Ladder shows the current total and its sources.
What are weekly emissions?
Recurring Gold drops to eligible ranked players over the season, weighted by rank. The Ladder shows what is accruing, a countdown to the next drop, and a board of who has earned the most.
What counts as my net winnings?
Your ranked wager wins plus finalized weekly emissions and any jackpot payout. Your profile's Economy tab breaks it down.
Profiles
What can other people see on my profile?
Your competitive record: rating, rank, ranked battle history, and season economy totals. Your solo practice history and saved loadouts are private to you.
Can I save my favorite setups?
Yes. Save loadouts from the create or solo config. They store your controller and liquidity for a mode and difficulty, and you can overwrite or branch them later. Loadouts are private.
Almost every question about a result is answered by the replay. Watch the run back and match the score change to what the charts were doing.
