// THE LEDGER

Economy

Gold is the unit that runs the season. You wager it, commit it as reserves, win it from opponents, and earn it from the Ladder. This page explains where Gold flows and how the season pays out.

Where Gold Goes

Liquidity supports the run, and that spend feeds the season jackpot too.

Two things you commit, two destinations. Wagers build the pot the winner takes. Liquidity supports the run and feeds the jackpot. A share of every wager pot also routes to the jackpot.

Wagers

Every ranked battle has a wager. Both sides stake it, and the winner receives the payout shown in the battle review. Part of the battle economy contributes to the season jackpot. The wager sets the size of the prize, not the size of your rating change.

Liquidity Spend

The reserves you commit to a run are real economy, not a free dial. Liquidity spend, in both ranked and solo runs, contributes to the season jackpot. This is why spending with discipline matters beyond your score: every unit is part of the season pool. See Liquidity.

The Season Jackpot

The jackpot is the season-long pool, built from liquidity spent across all runs plus a share of every ranked wager pot. It grows all season and pays out to the top of the final standings.

The Ladder always shows the current jackpot total and the contribution sources feeding it.

Weekly Emissions

Separate from the jackpot, the Ladder distributes weekly emissions to eligible ranked players. These are recurring drops over the season, weighted by rank. The Ladder shows the amount accruing, the next payout countdown, and an Emissions board ranking who has earned the most. Higher, active rank earns a larger share.

Net Winnings

Your profile sums it up: net winnings combine your ranked wager wins with finalized weekly emissions and any jackpot payout. The Economy tab on your profile breaks the flow into its parts so you can see where your Gold came from and where it went. See Your Profile.

Spendable Gold

The amount you can actively wager and commit is your spendable Gold, shown in the Arena status bar and on your profile. Commitments draw from it; winnings and payouts add to it.

Discipline compounds

Efficient liquidity scores better, keeps more Gold spendable, and still feeds the season pool. Spending well is not just a scoring tactic, it is how you stay liquid enough to keep competing.
